This mini-gun was designed specifically for the hollow dredgers at Pipe and Backdoor. Designed with the regular input of pro free-surfer Dave Rastovich, the first version was built with him right on the North Shore. A real departure for Grain, the Radicle stands out strongly from our retros. This board has a super-fine entry with loads of nose rocker. A flat vee in the tail gives excellent high-speed response and a thruster setup ensures positive turns and drive to round it all out. Named for the first rootlet to emerge from a germinating seed, we think of this as a next-gen board sprouting from a blend of Rasta’s board-savvy and our continuing quest to evolve wood board construction methods. Makes a great travel board for Indo, Hawaii and other parts unknown.
