The protoype of a collaboration between artist Ty Williams and Peninsula Holding Co. The “Ty-Die / Die-Ty” Model is a take on the design principles laid out by the venerable Bob Simmons and repopularized by the San Diego crew of tough hard charging humans. Rolled Entry, slightly flat through the middle to a large single out the back between the fins make this board straight fly from the smallest of waves to well over head speed-lining bombs. This is Ty’s personal board and at 5’1″ has an equivalent volume to a 6’2″ kind of thruster. So user friendly, so functional, so slashable, I want 20 of them for myself!

This board has an inlaid hand tie-dyed piece of fabric with a hot image of the teen beauty of yesteryear, Brooke Shields in Blue Lagoon, with an opaque creme resin pigment bottom and white pinline.

『 GRAIN Paipo 』『 Buoys Paipo』

2010年３月１３日のオープンにあわせてアメリカメイン州にある『GRAIN Surfboard』から『 GRAIN PAIPO 』『BUOYS PAIPO』が入荷しました。
『 GRAINPAIPO 』ボードは、全長4’5ft、シングルフィンがセッティングされる木製ホローボードです。さらに『BUOYS PAIPO』は、5'2ftのスペシャル版です。ご存知の方もいらっしゃるでしょうが、木製中空ボードは、浮力が非常に高いのです。このため、4'5とい う極端に短い長さでも楽々テイクオフでき、今までにない世界の波乗りが体験できるのです。リーフブレイクやポイントブレイクでは垂涎ものです。すでに米国 ではトッププロサーファーのディーンレイノルズやダンマロイが試乗し、新しい映画の収録も済ませたとのこと。
